The assignment centered on designing a bold and atmospheric announcement card for actor Bryan McClure, spotlighting his guest-starring role as Engineer Wilson on AMC’s iconic series The Walking Dead. The goal was to create a visual that captured the show’s gritty realism while celebrating this exciting career moment.

The Walking Dead is known for its post-apocalyptic storytelling, stark visuals, and high-stakes drama. Inspired by that tone, we built a design with rugged textures, desaturated color palettes, and strong, minimal typography. These elements worked together to mirror the tension of the show while keeping Bryan’s role front and center.

Bryan brings subtlety and strength to the screen, and his portrayal of Engineer Wilson added depth to the episode’s narrative. This announcement card wasn’t just a casting reveal—it also served as a strategic tool to increase visibility, encourage fan engagement, and support Bryan’s evolving presence in the entertainment industry.

Designing for a show as visually intense as The Walking Dead pushes creative thinking in the best way. This project offered the chance to fuse dramatic visual cues with purposeful design. In the end, the final piece honored both the brutal beauty of the series and the momentum of actor Bryan McClure’s journey.
